The Budapest Symphony Orchestra Association was established by members of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra to promote the high-standard interpretation of the outstanding values of the Hungarian and universal musical culture as well as the artistic-professional further education of its members. It aimed at turning the creative work of its members into a relevant workshop in Hungarian cultural life and a worthy representative of Hungary’s prestige achieved in international musical life so far.
